«Communication and Radionavigation» received a Type Approval Certificate for the «OCTOPUS» system.

We hasten to inform you! OCTOPUS technical control system (TCMS), developed by Svyaz and Radionavigation SPb LLC, has been issued a certificate of type approval of the Maritime Register of Shipping.

The certificate confirms the compliance of OCTOPUS with the requirements of the RS Rules 2024 and allows to supply the system to ships of any size, all classes of automation, as well as to Cyber class ships, which have requirements to cyber resistance.

The main functions of the system are:
* collection and processing of data from sensors, actuators and local control systems;
* remote and automated control of technical means and local systems of the vessel from the wheelhouse and central control station;
* data logging: storage of FAS data in the CP;
* display of FAS signals and sound notification on the control panel;
* light and sound signaling on the control panel (CP);
* possibility to change the settings of controlled parameters and delays of FAS on the ship's course;
* emergency power supply from UPS for at least 30 minutes during de-energization.
* user interface with touch control on the control panel, day and night themes;
* built-in simulator mode for training and maintaining crew skills.
