Documentation:

Furuno DFF-3D- network multi-beam sonar "black box", compatible with devices series NavNet, TZtouch and TZtouch2. The signal processing technology and ergonomic radiator (vibrator) used in the device provide a high resolution image. Furuno DFF-3D provides the user with several display modes, or a combination thereof.

The transverse scanning mode allows receiving echoes from the water column in a 120-degree sector and makes it possible to understand the distribution of commercial fish and the state of the underwater space.

The three- / single-beam scanning mode provides parallel images from a single beam (directly under the ship) and a 3-beam sounder, which determine the depth of target location, the bottom characteristic and the direction of the fish movement, with the beam angle and beam width being specified by the user if necessary.

In the lateral scan mode, a high-definition image of the structure of the bottom on the right and left side of the vessel is displayed.
