JRC JLN-720  is a satellite log that is a system for measuring the speed of a ship using a GPS compass mounted on a ship. The speed is measured in three directions: the transverse speed in the bow and stern is measured along with the longitudinal speed and the total / remote distance measured by satellite signals. The GPS compass has a built-in processor, which significantly reduces installation time and eliminates the error in speed measurements. The antenna design reduces possible blind spots, providing a more accurate speed measurement than conventional systems.

The JRC JLN-720 lag processor is made using the latest technology and can easily connect to a wide range of additional equipment to optimize the configuration. Remote displays, digital and analogue indicators, dimmers and distance meters are just some of the features. This equipment can output VBW (vessel speed information), VLW (sailing speed information) and VTG (course and speed information) in various standard NMEA formats and versions.

Specifications:

  • Weight 5,9 kg.
  • Multi-channel 12ch + SBAS 1ch
  • Measurement accuracy up to 0,02kn or 0,2%
  • Tracking speed 45 ° / sec
  • Temperature from -25 to 55 ° C
  • Degree of protection: IP56
  • Power consumption 4 W
The device can be supplied with a 5-inch, basic, LCD display, as well as with 6.5, and 8.4-inch additional displays. The touch panel displays provide clear and easy operation. All displays have backlight brightness adjustment from 0 to 100% and the ability to select the mode (day, twilight and night) from the menu. The user interface menu is intuitive and easy to use.

Main display options:

  • 5 inch touch screen
  • Resolution 480 by 800 pixels
  • Vertical orientation 450 cd / m2 max. Brightness
  • Viewing angle (H / V) 170 ° Cutting panel 90x160 mm
  • Power 24 V DC, 8 W

The satellite lag JLN-720  is able to provide programmed signals and alerts. These are various alarms and warnings, such as GPS failure, gyro and mismatch, are supported via contacts and RS-422. It is also possible to set the ship's threshold speed individually for both direct and reverse directions. When an alert occurs, the warning icon will be displayed at the top of the display and after clicking on the icon, a warning will be displayed on the panel. You can confirm receipt of the notification by clicking on the message.

When VDR is connected through the local network, the satellite slug JLN-720 can be monitored from the coast using a satellite communication system. This allows you to economically determine the operational status, install the software version, and update the software through the j-Marine Cloud.

The satellite speedometer JLN-720 meets the requirements of IEC 61023 (Ed.3), SDME standards for ships of 50,000GT.
