Raymarine Ray50 Compact VHF Radio is a stationary VHF radio of the sea band, which has digital selective calling (DSC), built-in AIS and GPS receivers. It has the ability to connect the 2nd full-function post and intercom, transmitting the exact coordinates of the ship's location when a distress signal is given, thanks to the built-in 72-channel GLONASS / GPS receiver. Ray50 is equipped with an additional tube with a large high-contrast LCD display, which can easily read the information in any light. The radio station is equipped with an intuitive menu, which allows it to be used even by an experienced user. The availability of standard network interfaces NMEA2000 and NMEA0183 (data transfer protocols) will allow you to connect to the ship's navigation network, as well as to the MFD RAYMARINE LightHouse, for full-featured use of the DSC function. To communicate with the deck, it is possible to use the output to a 25-watt loudspeaker with feedback, which will allow simple communication with crew members on the deck, with mooring or with surrounding vessels. It is possible to connect a fog horn to feed fog signals under adverse climatic conditions in accordance with the rules of navigation.

The Ray50 has the option of mounting on the bracket provided, or mounting it in the dashboard flush.
