Boarder BSAS 96-02R is a hidden safety warning system designed to enhance safety at sea, in coastal waters and inland waterways. The system allows you to send an alarm signal to the shore, informing the relevant authorities that the safety of the vessel is under threat or reduced. The alarms are transmitted via the Iridium satellite communication system.
The hidden security alert system plays a key role in ensuring the safety of the vessel and is installed on all ships launched after July 1, 2004.
This system includes passenger ships, high-speed vessels, oil tankers, gas carriers, bulk carriers, large cargo ships and floating drilling rigs.
