The CMZ900B is a compact and reliable gyrocompass with a wide range of applications. It is designed for use on various types of small vessels and provides accurate measurement of rotation speed. It has an automatic restart function, the time of which can vary from 1 to 99 hours (depending on the settings). The gyrocompass complies with international standards, including IEC 61162-2 and is approved RMRS.
It contains all the necessary components, including the MKM026 gyrocompass, the MKR025 control unit, the MKR026 switchboard, the MKT007 gyrosphere and additional MKZ512 elements. There is also an AC adapter and an instruction manual.
To save space on the ship, the main gyrocompass unit can be installed inside the autopilot rack along with the control unit. This provides additional protection for the device from vibration and shock. The CMZ900B gyrosphere is made of a titanium capsule with electrodes, which ensures its high strength and durability, as well as the accuracy of gyroscope readings even in the harshest conditions.
