Furuno RCU-015 Control Unit (Trackball)

Furuno RCU-015 is a control panel consisting of a trackball module and special function keys. It can be used as an alternative to the keyboard, but unlike the keyboard unit, there are no EBL and VRM analog rotary knobs and other buttons in the ball track.

The power button turns the device on and off, special function keys perform menu shortcut functions when the ball moves the cursor, and the selector is used to select menu items.

The menu selector consists of the right and left buttons and the wheel, which makes the navigation convenient.

Using the trackball and the menu selector, the user can perform control operations in the same way as with RCU-014. This includes the EBM and VRM rotary control settings, suppression of audible alarms, transition from standby mode, display brightness adjustment, radar range selection, main menu opening, target data display and target tracking cancellation, and receiver sensitivity adjustment among others.
