Furuno FA-170

AIS class A Furuno FA-170 is designed to monitor other vessels that are equipped with AIS, as well as to exchange data with coast stations in real time, in the coverage area of ​​VHF. These data include the static (MMSI, IMO callsign and name, length and width, vessel type, antenna location on the ship), dynamic (coordinates, UTC, COG, SOG) and trip (sludge, dangerous goods type, destination and time Arrival) information, as well as short messages relating to safety. Furuno FA-170  can be connected to radar, ECDIS and electronic mapping systems. Furuno does not require an additional interface to connect to the latest radar models (FAR-21x7 / FAR-28x7 series) and ECDIS (FEA-2107/2807 series).
