Manual hydraulic steering machines

Manual hydraulic steering machines are designed for use on ships with a torque of up to 1 T.m. The system is operated by the steering wheel of the hand-operated steering pump. The pump drives the cylinder rod, creating a flow of hydraulic fluid.

Manual hydraulic steering machines are approved by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) and the Russian River Register (RRR). Due to their robust design, the systems are highly reliable in all operating conditions. Long service life, the highest quality of materials and low cost are the main advantages of the system. Also, manual hydraulic steering machines have the following advantages:

  • Minimum leakage of working fluid
  • Maximum ease and smooth steering
  • Low position of the non-return valves of the hand-operated steering pump, allowing control even with a low level of working fluid in the pump
  • Double cylinder seals
