MT 150/130

MT 150/130 - is a modern tyfon Kockum Sonics series ELECTRO-TYFON. It equipped with an electric drive. Operation is carried out by means of the piston. A distinctive feature of the Typhon is a unique vertical extension and a specially designed sound range, which will reduce the noise on the deck by 6-8 dB compared to the conventional siren with a round tube. Sound travels asymmetrical.

 

Ship siren unit also comes with a contactor TK 80, which carries out the starting of the engine and protects it from overload. contactor unit also has a ventilation device which prevents condensation. MT 150/130 meets the rules of COLREG-72, according to which all ships and more should be equipped with sound-signaling device (ship Typhon) 12 meters in length.

 

Tyfon consists of several moving parts such as 'swinging piston' and oil-free reducer (not used lubricant). Oil-free gearbox ensures smooth operation and is resistant to corrosion. Suffice it easy to install. MT 150/130 withstand harsh environmental conditions.
